I took these photos in Vista. I’ve lived in Vista my entire life, and honestly, I’ve always heard negative comments about Vista from people who do not live there. The worst, but kind of funny, comment I’ve come across is that Vista is the armpit of San Diego County. I totally disagree. Last Thursday, I took the time to walk around Vista Village. I took photos at the park, inside of Cinepolis theater, and main street where the Avo and a lot of neat stores and restaurants are located. I did make the rookie mistake of not taking these photos in raw, I will admit. Because it was a sunny day, my ISO was at 100, sometimes 200. I would mess with the aperture depending on how much light I had. I was on manual mode, and my focus was also manual. I know I still have a lot to learn, but I really enjoyed going out alone and walking around my hometown.
Hello!
My name is Susan but I go by my middle name, Michelle.
This is the first photography class I have ever taken. I’ve always had an interest for media art, but have never really committed to it. I have always loved to take photos, but always get intimated with camera settings so I am looking forward to getting comfortable with the camera. I have completed all of the requirements for a major in Liberal Studies because I want to be a teacher; however, I am doing a minor in Arts and Technology because I really want to commit myself to something that will challenge me, and I know I will enjoy and be able to use my skills in the future. I’m excited to learn as much as I can. I love to travel, although I haven’t done it a while. I took this photo in Sintra Portugal, one of my favorite places I have ever visited.
